Ali Palin received her BFA from the Maine College of Art in 2015. She will receive her MA in Material Culture and Public Humanities from Virginia Tech in Spring, 2022.

My interest lies in the ethereal, that which exists beyond this realm which can only be sensed, and that which seems too perfect to exist here. My painting practice is spell work and my magic is light; enchanting illusions cast shadows of disorientation and disintegration. As one who wanders into the land of Faerie and never returns home, there is something intoxicating about loss.
